- Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Get to taste Salt
- Get 6 Green chillies
- Make ready 8 garlic cloves

- Make ready 2 cups chane Ka aata / gram flour
- Prepare 4 pinch khane Ka soda / baking soda

Instructions to make Batata Vada:
- Take chane Ka ata in bowl add salt + khane Ka soda mix it well and by adding water make a batter (neither thick nor thin).
- Grind together green chillies and garlic cloves.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a kadhai add curry leaves and add grinded chillies and saute for 1 mins then add salt + turmeric powder mix it and saute for some seconds.
- Add mashed potatoes and mix it very well cook on low flame for 2 mins more and then add chopped coriander leaves mix it and remove from gas let it cool.
- After that make small balls of it.
- Heat oil in a kadhai dip the potato balls in batter and fry them properly and serve hot.
