  3. When the onions get translucent now at this stage add mashed garlic and chilli paste..when it's raw smell disappears completely then at this stage add hing.
  4. Now you need to add turmeric powder and mix it well and after that, you need to add mashed potatoes and half teaspoon of garam masala
  5. And now u need to mash everything nicely and let this mixture cool this was the recipe for the filling of batata Vada and now for the recipe for the batter, you need to take besan add to it salt little rice flour and add little oil to it and add water to it and mix it up well your batter recipe is ready.
  6. Now u need to make small balls of the filling and you need to dip the same in the besan batter which you have made and fry the same in the hot oil
  7. Now delicious batata Vada is ready for serving.
