- Take 1 1/2 cup crumbled potatoes
- Take 1 chopped green chilli

- Take 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- Make ready 1/8 tsp turmeric powder

- Make ready 1 tbsp cornflour
- Prepare as needed Salt
- Prepare Pinch turmeric Powder

Serve hot with tea and green chutney / tomato ketch up. Serving Ideas: Serve Batata Vada as a snack or side dish with green chilli and coriander chutney. Instructions to make Batata Vada:
- Heat oil in tha pan. Add mustard seeds when they start crackle add curry leaves.
- Once they crisp add ginger garlic paste, green chilli chopped and saute.
- Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder and add potatoes.
- Add salt and mix well. Keep aside till, it cools
- Once it cools make balls and keep it.
- Now we will make covering.
- Mix everything with water. The batter should not too thick and not too watery.
- Lastly dip the balls in batter and deep fry them
- Once they are ready either you can serve them with fried chillies or green chutney.
- You can use the pav and have vada pav.
- Mine are homemade pav but you can have these from your nearest store too.
