The ingredients needed to make Coucous jollof:
  1. Take Half satchet of couscous
  2. Take 1/2 cup Peas
  3. Make ready 1 big Carrot sliced
  4. Get Blended kayan miya
  5. Make ready 5 Seasoning
  6. Take Salt
  7. Make ready Curry
  8. Prepare Sliced medium onion

I think that's why that one of my favorite recipes. Gently fluff jollof couscous with a fork. Add some coconut oil or butter to a large pan and heat slightly. This jollof couscous is a casual spin on that.

Instructions to make Coucous jollof:
  1. Add oil to pot and add sliced onion leave for few minutes and add the blended kayan miya until well fried
  2. Add water 1 1/2 cup of water and add peas to cook.
  3. When water is boiling and add seasoning, salt and curry and add the carrot
  4. Leave to cook for about 7mins. Make sure peas and carrot are soft
  5. Add couscous and stir gently. Reduce flame to small and leave for 3-5mins until cooked.
  6. Serve like that or with sauce or stews. Anything of choice

Jollof rice is one of the most common dishes in West Africa, tracing back its origin to the Senegambian region ruled by the Jolof Empire.
