- Get 1/2 kg matumbo
- Get 1 onion

- In a different cooking pan add cooking oil and onions tgen cook until almost golden brown
- Add the tomatoes then let it cook well
- In a cup add royco with 1/4 of water then stir to mix then add in the tomatoes
- Add a cup of water then let it boil before adding the matumbo
- Add chill and 1 cup of water for soup if need be.
- Cover it with a lid and leave it for a few minutes for tge soup to thicken well.
- Best served with steamed cabbage and ugali or matoke.
Add a quarter tsp each of ginger and garlic pastes, salt and black pepper. Bring to a rolling boil, and then drain and discard the liquid.
