- In a medium saucepan, the golden syrup, dark syrup, brown sugar and butter until just melted.
- Add oats and stir in well.
- Strain water from apples, add them to saucepan, along with the quartered Cherries. Stir in well.
- While that is heating, butter a baking tray, (8 x12”).
- When mix starts to bubble, pour into tray and smooth top with a knife.
- Cook in a medium to hot oven for about 30-40 minutes until firm to the touch
- Leave it the tin for about 5 minutes, cut into bite size pieces. Leave to cool completely. When cool, scoop out and enjoy!!
