- Cut the chicken into medium pieces and wash them well.After that 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic powder put into the chicken and mix it well. Keep the chicken for Marination till 1 or half our at least.Take a pan,put oil and heat it.put tejpata and fry.
- Put into cumin seeds and black paper.after that put into onion and chopped tomatoes and fry them until onions remain lite brown color.then put garlic and ginger paste in it and fry them for 2 minutes.Then put termeric powder,red chili powder,garam masala powder,coriender and cumin powder into it and put 1 cup of water.cook it well.
- When the masala will be perfectly cooked, put the marinated chicken into it and fry them well in medium flames.
- Wash the rice and moong dal properly and drain the water from it.When chicken is 70% cooked, put those rice and dal into it and fry in low flame for 15 minutes.then put 1 and half litre water into rice and cook them well. when the rice is cooked 90%, put green chillies into it and cook more 15 minutes.
- Then serve the tasty chicken khichuri with boiled eggs and salad and enjoy this authentic Bengali dish.
