- In a plate, take the paneer and using palm smash it smoothly. Now add powdered sugar and cardamom powder (or rose water) and again smash it to make the texture very smooth. Now take lemon sized quantity on palm and using both the hands roll it to make small balls. Continue making the small balls from the remaining paneer mixture. Now garnish the sweets with cherries.
Kancha Golla is a classical Bengali sweet. This sweet is prepared with "Channa" (cottage cheese) along with Sugar or Notun /Nolen Gur (a special variety of Jaggery prepared from date palm ) or a mixture of both.
